Drawing with Life, Energy and Story by David Colman

Hey David!!! I don’t know what to say because I feel a Huge Thank You is not enough!! I “feel it in my gut” to tell you, I’ve learned so much in all these lessons in this course!! I’ve learned a lot of this in college way back, but as they say it feels great to forget what you already know and re-learn everything. I’ve taken so many notes and learned alongside you as you taught these lessons in this course. I feel your passion and that passion keeps me excited to keep learning and growing every day in my art. I’ve been in the art business for about 20 years and there is always something new to learn! “Staying Loose” and “Letting it Go” is my style of drawing, so you can see how you very easily resonated with me. I love studying animals’ behaviors and their moves. Tigers are my favorite too. One of my favorite lessons in this course is the Tiger Pose Demo! I drew these alongside with you. I may just practice other animals like this too for extra exercises!! I love the Storytelling in every piece of art I see and create myself. I guess that’s why I loved Art History so much in college because I would always find the story in those works of art. I have a Frank Frazetta book I have had for a long time that was introduced to me by Mark Simon. You invited me to study Frazetta’s works again. Great Impersonations of the Lion Roars too BTW. LOL Thank you for bringing the life and passion of drawing animals and humans. I’m literally leaping off my seat with joy and enthusiasm!! THANK YOU DAVID COLMAN!!!!!!!!
